Directorate of Open and Distance Learning (DODL) Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi 110062 Notice Inviting Applications for Establishment of Study and Learning Resource Centres under Open and Distance Learning Programme     Jamia Hamdard, a Grade ‘A’ NAAC accredited Deemed University invites applications from the reputed Institutions/Organization to serve as Study and Learning Resource Centres (SLRC) of the University under Open and Distance Learning programme. The Institutions/Organization should be in the field of education with a longstanding track record and infrastructure as per norms set out by the University. The role of the SLRC would be to provide student support in counseling and learning through contact classes as per the Open and Distance Leaning norms of the University.  Jamia Hamdard is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Delhi and Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), London. It is covered under Section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC Act 1956 and is empowered to award degrees, diplomas and certificates as specified by the UGC.  The approval of SLRC will be provisional and will be discontinued in case there is objection from the UGC, DEC or any other statutory agency.  Booklet containing guidelines and format of Application Form can be obtained from the DODL headquarters on payment of Rs. 2000/- in the form of demand draft in favour of Jamia Hamdard payable at New Delhi.
