HAMDARD COACHING CENTRE

 

INTRODUCTION: - Hamdard Coaching Centre was established in 1999 for preparing students from weaker sections of society, particularly Muslims, for various Medical & Engineering Entrance Examinations. The coaching centre has excellent results to its credit. From 1999 to 2011, it has been instrumental in enabling 176 students for getting into M.B.B.S. & other Medical Courses. From the engineering stream 161 students succeeded in getting into I.I.T. & other Engineering Courses. These results could be achieved, due to proper planning, assiduous collection of feed back from the students and regular follow-up action to plug the shortcomings. The coaching centre has been honing its skills and making continuous improvements in coaching methodology for achieving success by students.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:-

Admission form and information bulletin are available at the office of the Hamdard Coaching Centre against payment of Rs. 75.00 by hand or by dispatch of Demand Draft of Rs. 125.00 in favour of Hamdard Education Society payable at New Delhi by post. The student can also download the Application Form from www.hamdardcoachingcentre.org and duly filled form along with a demand draft of Rs.125.00 in favour of Hamdard Education Society payable at New Delhi can be sent.

ELIGIBILITY: -

Description

Medical & Engineering stream

 

Qualification 

12th pass with Phy., Chem., Biology / Maths with at least 60% marks for General candidates and 55% marks for OBC & other candidates.

 

Income of Father/Guardian

Only Candidates belonging to minority communities having total family income from all sources not exceeding upto Rs. 2.50 Lakh per annum are likely to be considered for stipend under the scheme of Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India.

NOTE:  Only 12th Class pass out (OR) 1 Year Dropper is eligible.
SCREENING TEST: -

1.             There will be objective type questions with four options having single correct answer. For each incorrect response, one fourth of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted. More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect response and will be negatively marked.

2.             The screening test will be having 40 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for Engineering Stream carrying 480 marks & 50 questions each in Physics & Chemistry and 100 questions for Biology carrying 800 marks for Medical stream.

3.             Students are advised to go through the basic books in Physics, Chemistry & Biology for admission to medical stream and Physics, Chemistry & Maths in the case of engineering stream.
