Applications on prescribed forms are invited for filling up the following positions in the Department of Paramedical Sciences, HIMSR. Eligible candidates may apply on or before 30 January, 2012.

Pay Band and Grade Pay:

1.            Associate Professor                            Rs. 37400-67000 + AGP Rs. 9000

2.            Assistant Professor                             Rs. 15600-39100 + AGP Rs. 6000

01.       Associate Professor:                                                 Two

Essential Qualification:

M.D. / M.S. / MBBS with M.Sc. / Ph.D. / D.Sc. in the relevant subjects

Experience:

(i) As Assistant Professor for four years in the recognized medical college.

(ii) Minimum of two research publications in indexed/national journals as the First Author published during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.

OR

As Assistant Professor/Lecturer for five years in a recognised medical college.

Desirable: Minimum of four research publications indexed in Index Medicus/national journals.  

02.       Assistant Professor:                                                   Four

Essential Qualification:        

M.D. / M.S. in any medical discipline

OR

MBBS with three years experience of teaching in recognized medical college/paramedical sciences institutes OR three years of working experience in a hospital.

Desirable: Experience in Pharmacology, Pathology, Radiology, Anesthesiology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Nephrology, Critical Care.

GENERAL INFORMATION

1.      The Institute reserves the right not to fill-up the vacancies if the circumstances so warrant and to call only short-listed candidates for test/ interview.

2.      The Institute reserves the right to consider name of suitable candidates who may not have applied and also to relax the qualification and experience for deserving candidates, as approved by the Selection Committee.

3.      Candidates called for interview will have to come to the place of interview at their own expenses and bring with them their original research papers, degrees and certificate etc. for verification.

·         Bio-data (highlighting personal details, academic records, teaching and research experience).

·         Attested copies of certificates & testimonials in support of qualification and experience.

·         Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- for the post of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, in favour of Registrar, HIMSR, Jamia Hamdard payable at New Delhi.

·         Duly typed Annexure – A available with the application form.
