Studies on Islam is the biannual publication of Department of Islamic Studies, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. The journal is dedicated to publish articles/research papers on contemporary Islam. The journal will happily welcome scholarly contributions from interested scholars. a note for contributors' benefit is included in the journal which, we hope, the prospective writers would consult before submitting their articles/book reviews.

The first issue of the journal includes some well-researched articles on vital issues of contemporary relevance. The contributors are also well-Known authors/personalities who have articulated their ideas in a rational manner. It is hoped from esteemed readers like you that you would not only welcome and appreciate our humble endeavours but would also encourage us by your scholarly comments and suggestions.
